An MOT delegation, led by Land Transport Affairs Assistant Undersecretary Eng. Abdullah Saif Al-Sulaiti, has taken part in the ITS America Conference & Expo 2026, which concluded on June 12, in Detroit, Michigan, under the theme 'Empowering Innovation'.
The MOT participation highlighted Qatar’s profile in the global smart transit ecosystem and aimed at keeping pace with the latest technological advancements in the industry in step with the goals of the QNV 2030.

It was also an opportunity for the MOT to learn firsthand about latest developments and innovations from exhibitors in terms of smart systems and technologies in transportation.
Enhancing cooperation and partnerships with specialized U.S. organizations was also among the top objectives of the participation.
On the sidelines of the event, the MOT delegation met with the President and CEO of ITS America, and the Executive Director of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). They discussed enhancing cooperation and exchange of expertise in smart transportation and infrastructures.
